KODERUS x Nexto

Šnipiškės is a rapidly transforming district of Vilnius, where the city’s past meets its future. Amidst skyscrapers, new residential blocks, and traces of old urban fabric, the Nexto residential complex on Linkmenų Street speaks the language of modernity.

Seeking a balance between aesthetics and functionality, the Nexto project team chose to use the KODERUS 2IN1 facade system — concrete panels with an integrated insulation layer. This advanced dual-function element combines aesthetics with thermal efficiency. This solution eliminated the need for additional insulation and lengthy installation processes — resulting in a solution that is not only efficient but also aesthetically seamless.

A modern interpretation of clinker

The facade is not traditional clinker. It is a modern interpretation — a concrete texture that borrows from the classics what has stood the test of time. The imitation of clinker pattern transforms with the daylight — from a soft morning glow to rich evening shadows. The façade is not aggressive; it blends subtly into its surroundings, becoming a natural part of the cityscape.

KODERUS panels – creative partners

The primary finish consists of F16 patterned panels that mimic the texture of clinker, featuring cut edges to create a precise joint system in the final stage, which conceals the panel connections. These panels are painted in two shades – K8004 (a warm brown with a slight orange undertone) and K8019 (a rich, almost black anthracite). The warm and dark tones subtly harmonize with each other and the surroundings, accentuating the surface texture.

Another building facade in this complex is created using our new jointing method — based on the principle of brick bonding. Here, F5 format impregnated panels in color K9002 — a light shade that gives the façade a sense of lightness, rhythm, and contemporary aesthetics — are used. The impregnation not only enhances the color’s durability but also ensures resistance to environmental impact.

The ground level is visually emphasized with 95×20 cm vertically installed panels, also using the new block joint system. Their dark K7021 (graphite) tone adds strength, while the unique size enhances vertical rhythm and enriches the composition with subtle scale and depth contrasts.
