At the end of 2020, began the construction of a new, exquisite design project – MEMELHAUS. It consists of 36 homogenous three-story, A+ energy class cottages in Kalnėnai (Vilnius) for 36 families – each measuring 102 sq. m.
To achieve the project’s exclusivity in the housing market, the facades of MEMELHAUS cottages were decided to be designed in fachwerk style, reminiscent of Memel – the name of Klaipėda during the German period. This approach utilizes the KODERUS façade system, developed and produced in Lithuania, which helps to protect the building façade from harsh weather conditions and steep temperature changes.
KODERUS panels contributed to designing cottages of exquisite architectural concepts, which will appeal to those in love with the Lithuanian seaside. Fachwerk-style buildings and other meticulously thought-out details will regularly remind us of the sea, inspire new ideas and provide a feeling of comfort.
